We need a Airfield Management Shift Lead (AMSL),

ssential Responsibilities:

The Airfield Management Shift Lead is responsible for maintaining situational awareness of airfield activities and overall responsibility for AMOPS section while on duty to provide a safe, efficient, and effective airfield environment for aircraft operations. The designee performs airfield inspections and checks for safety and compliance with planning and design criteria. Plans, organizes, and directs airfield activities to include airfield construction/repairs, airfield driving program, ice/snow removal operations, Bird/Wildlife control, etc. Procures, maintains, and produces information on safe operation of aircraft through the national and international airspace system such as Flight Information Publications, aeronautical charts and maps, NOTAM, local airfield and navigational aid status, and weather information. Process domestic and international flight plans. Coordinates with base agencies to meet aircrew requirements for billeting, messing, refueling, transportation, and transient aircraft maintenance.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Graduate of an approved DoD/Airfield Managers course or equivalent and aviation related experience as aircrew/dispatcher/flight follower with a 14 CFR Part 121 or 14 CFR Part 135 operator.
Four (4) years of experience to include the following: Duties including supervision and coordination between air-traffic control and maintenance personnel, dispatching, implementing and enforcing airfield safety procedures; monitoring and maintaining flight records; applying knowledge of weather information, flight plan processing, flight following procedures, tracking aircraft movements, managing wildlife on and around airfield grounds, and implementing bird aircraft strike hazard procedures. Coordinating airfield maintenance and construction projects. Coordinating hazardous cargo and live fire devices, responding to aircraft emergencies, and conducting airfield inspections in accordance with AFMAN 13-204v2.
Requirements IAW AFMAN 13-204v1 Chapter 7 and AFMAN 13-24v2 Chapter 2.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US CENTCOM Medical Exam
Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Flight Simulator Engineer, CAE, Abu Dhabi, UAE

About This Role



We are excited to invite experienced Simulator Engineers to apply to join our team based in Abu Dhabi looking after a suite of FFS simulators. In this dynamic role, you'll play a key part in ensuring smooth, efficient, and top-quality operations at our training center.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about helping us achieve CAE’s goal of delivering world-class flight simulator training. As part of CAE’s vision to be the global training partner of choice, you will contribute to enhancing safety, efficiency, and readiness across all aspects of our training center operations.

Key Tasks

    Support all technical and operational aspect of the Flight Simulator Training Devices and Cabin Crew Training Devices as applicable.

    Attend flight crew and maintenance calls, perform daily readiness, support flyouts as required, perform scheduled preventative maintenances, as well as running Qualification Test Guides (QTGs).

    Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex training device issues and AOGs.

    Identify recurring issues and work to pursue permanent solutions.

    Seek and make improvements to procedures related to various training device maintenance tasks.

    Through coaching and mentoring, provide on the job technical training to other technicians that will foster the professional development of all personnel.

    Work with the specialists on complex issues that require extensive testing, troubleshooting, research, and design.

    Assure, maintain and support the FSTD operations Management System, including implementation and adopting processes and procedures as deemed required.

    Perform recurrent minor updates of Nav DB, Terr DB, OIS & EFB Charts, Documents, and Perf Data, as well as IOS Lesson Plan uploads.

    Maintain, keep track, and request consumable items and tools required to perform the PMTs and Daily Readiness.

    Support logistics duties, including yearly inventories, re-arrangement of stores, packing, preparation for shipping, etc.

    Pursue knowledge and skills to strive to become a technical expert in one or more simulator system. (i.e. Visual, Motion, Flt Controls, etc…)

    Foster a workplace culture that is consistent and aligned with the overall organizational culture that emphasizes the mission, vision, guiding principles and values of the organization.

    Paramount importance to occupational Safety and Health in the workplace and associated metrics.

    Support compliance and environment activities aligned with CAE Management System and Global Environmental policies.

Qualifications and skill set requirements

    You will hold a Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical or Aviation Field

    Have at least 5 years work experience with flight simulators

    Excellent knowledge of the English language, read, spoken, and written.

    Highly customer oriented, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the customer.

    Skilled working knowledge of computer mainframe/architecture, networking, operating systems, and programming languages. Ability to make minor software changes.

    Proficient technical background (Hardware and Software) and familiarity with Flight Simulator technical issues, across all systems, specifically: motion, visual, avionics, dynamics of flight, aircraft systems, etc.…

    Proficient knowledge of various aircraft types, including Commercial Jetliners.

    Proficient understanding of aircraft and training device terminology.

    Good understanding of Commercial Aviation training.

    Effective knowledge of local & International (EASA, UAE DGCA, etc.) regulations, with demonstrated experience, as they pertain to FSTDs.

    Proficient computer skills with knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

About the role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for all operations of receiving / storing / issuing of materials in Food stores and General store and keeping the JDE system on-line with accuracy. Responsible for the organization of physical stock taking, controlling variances, updating expiry dates and informing concerned departments on items running close to expiry, and monitor the manpower and roster as per business needs. Impart through on the job training and supervise the overall hygiene and safe of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

To control and confirm JDE entries pertaining to the stores on real time basis and ensuring that JDE is kept on-line 24x7.
Physical stock taking — to distribute tasks over supervisors and take responsibility of minimizing stock variances. To assign supervisors and plan Receiving / Storing / Issuing of materials.
Control waste management by monitoring short life products, expiry dates, and slow moving items.
Control and sign off documents for proper material accounting.
Monitor adherence to Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure all operational processes and stores are carried out in efficient and safe manner as outline in respective document. Coordinating with internal users (production and try setup) to enhance processes
Regular update between purchase and demand planning team to ensure sufficient inventory to support customer orders.
Liaise with Purchase ensuring the smooth flow of goods [receipts/returns].
Responsible for controlling inventory stock levels keep the balance between costs and customers' needs.
Monitor internal and external warehouse operations for smooth production runs at QACC.
Managers control wastage and quality as per the company polices.
Oversee that best practices are followed for Receiving, Storing and Issuing functions.
Ensures the systems are aligned with physical stock.
Communicate and liaise with 3PL to manage stock and inventory movements.
To take full charge of cycle count / submit monthly reconciliation / minimize variances.
Control waste management by monitoring short life, Slow and None — moving products.
Identity and escalate to management non-moving and slow moving items to avoid write offs.
To consolidate the overall stores staff roaster and leave plan in coordination with supervisors.
Responsible for staff trainings and performance as per the job requirement - to prepare and propose training programs for staff, mainly on Safety, security, CCP and Hygiene in order to develop staff motivation. Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed be the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

An ideal candidate will meet below qualifications and experience:

In order to be successful in this role, we are looking for the candidates with Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with 3 prior job-related work experience. High School Qualification/ Vocational Qualification/ Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience.

Preferred

Hands-on ERP (Enterprise Reporting System) experience

Job Specific Skills:

Essential

Storekeeping and Microsoft Office knowledge.
Exposure in Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Assurance.
Good knowledge of JDE (JD Edwards system) and WMS (Warehouse Management System) usage and able to identify the systems gaps.
Experience in QOSMOS system.
Good spoken and written English.
Good Communication skills.
Good knowledge of Stores and Receiving process. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.

Preferred

Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills.
