Job Summary:
The Training & Detailing Manager for Africa & Middle East (AME) will be responsible for driving sales, market share growth, and reinforcing the medical positioning of Eucerin across the region. This role focuses on the development and execution of robust business training and detailing strategies, tools, and initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the teams across AME. The role will involve close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of strategies tailored to the region’s unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop & Execute Training Strategy : Design and implement comprehensive training strategies for AME, focusing on medical detailers, sales detailers, pharmacists, beauty advisors, and other relevant stakeholders. Ensure the strategies align with the overall business goals and meet local market needs.
Create Detailing Tools & Key Messages : Develop and localize effective detailing tools and key messages for the medical detailers, sales detailers, including e-detailers, to communicate the Eucerin latest innovations & portfolio. Tailor these tools to meet the needs of diverse AME markets, ensuring they resonate with local medical and consumer audiences.
Product & Sales Training : Lead the training of medical detailers, sales detailers, pharmacists, beauty advisors, on Eucerin products, detailing techniques, and sales approaches. Ensure that all new team members are onboarded effectively and receive ongoing training to enhance their skills.
Medical Strategy Support & Communication : Collaborate with the medical team to implement the medical strategy. Professionalize communication skills within the teams to ensure clear, compelling, and accurate communication of Eucerin’s medical and scientific messages.
Localize & Support Regional Studies : Assist in the localization and implementation of regional studies and medical initiatives. Ensure that key scientific findings and insights are effectively shared with internal and external stakeholders.
Sales Skill Development : Develop and enhance the skills of the sales force, focusing on both sell-in and sell-out strategies. Conduct field visits to observe and guide teams, ensuring the application of best practices in the field.
Manager Development : Support the professional growth and development of regional managers, ensuring they have the skills and tools to succeed and lead teams effectively.
Lead Detailing CRM Platform : Oversee the CRM platform dedicated to detailing efforts, providing regular follow-ups and performance analysis. Continuously refine the platform based on insights to maximize its impact on the business.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with the medical management team, sales leadership, and other departments to ensure alignment of goals and strategies. Provide support for medical management projects and initiatives as needed.
Performance Analysis & Reporting : Continuously monitor the success of training programs, detailing efforts, and sales performance across the region. Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management to help refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.
Your Profile
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales training, detailing, and business strategy development within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably in dermatology or related sectors.
Strong knowledge of the AME region’s market dynamics, including local regulations, consumer behaviors, and professional healthcare networks.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train and engage diverse audiences.
Experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams, with a focus on performance enhancement and team development.
Strong analytical skills and experience with CRM platforms and sales performance analysis tools.
Proficiency in developing localized training materials, including e-detailers and digital content.
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Education & Experience:
A degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in a training or detailing manager role, with a deep understanding of sales processes, product knowledge, and market dynamics.
Experience in the dermatology sector or a related field is a plus.
Fluency in English & Arabic; French is a big plus.
