Sales Manager
The primary objective of this role is to generate orders Inflow for Integrated Automation & Telecom Projects business with digitalization value add to achieve the targeted revenue for Oman.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for selling integrated solutions (that bring together both hardware and software products) to achieve revenue/sales targets. Involvement in the direct sales process by managing new and existing accounts of regional, national, or strategic significance.- Sales & Business Development within Oman for Industrial Automation (VFD, RTU, PLC, SCADA) & Telecommunication Projects in Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and WWW domains.
- Accurately forecast and deliver annually, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.
- Deliver high performance in Order Intake, Sales, Customers Satisfaction, Profitability and Coverage.
- Collaborate with the segment leaders in the cluster to ensure we are well positioned in the market.
- Segments of focus will be Oil & Gas, High infrastructure, WWW & MMM.
- Identify Strategic Clients and Customers and build & maintain strong relationships.
- Developing healthy pipeline of Project Sales opportunities.
- Proactive engagement for the identified opportunities and perform prescription work.
- Review and prioritize enquiries and coordinate with the proposal team to submit Techno-commercial offers as per customer expectations.
- Frequent meetings with customers to develop relationships and influence decision making.
Discuss and negotiate Terms & Conditions with Customer to maintain contract hygiene.- Analyze competitor’s strengths & weaknesses in term of strategy, relationships, pricing & products.
- Update projects pipeline, customer visits and contacts regularly in the bFO tool (Sales force).
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, specializing either in Electrical/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Instrumentation & Control.- 10-15 years of Sales & Business Development experience of Industrial Automation & Telecommunication in Oman market.
- Technical competency to understand customer requirements clearly and advocate proposed solutions.
- Ability to deliver Presentations and strong communication skills for efficient interaction with various stakeholders.
- Sound know-how of Commercial Processes, Cost Estimation, Negotiation and Contract management.
- Results-oriented, Self-motivated and ability to perform under pressure and achieve sales targets.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, ability to present at senior customer level.
- Ability to think and act independently and exhibit consistently sound business judgment and an action-oriented ability to take measured risks and take responsibility for the consequences.
- Team Player - Passionate and dynamic professional with the energy and ability to obtain alignment and work effectively across teams and functions.
