Partner with the best
As a Lead Sourcing Specialist, you will negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. You will ensure to achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction.
As a Lead Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Defining and improving Sourcing strategies at business or plant level.
- Advising Functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in the own field.
- Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
- Contributing to project as a team member or leads small projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event
- Working toward achieving sourcing KPIs, i.e. YOY deflation, Project Productivity, Supplier-Commodity standardization, Strategic Agreements, Auto Sourcing etc.
- Knowledge of API6A products and wellhead manufacturing is desirable.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sourcing).
- Have minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Sourcing Management.
- Have strong oral and written communication as well as interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Have the ability to influence others and lead small teams as well as coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Have the ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
- Have effective problem identification and solution skills as well as proven analytical and organizational ability.
