KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Planning:
o Analyse RFQ and prepare suitable Technical Proposal related to our Products and Services.
o Interpretsurveydata,pipelinedata,structuraldrawingsoffoundationsto determine the best suited solution.
o Develop and design subsea foundations (Precast Concrete Products and Grout Products) for subsea pipeline supports, cable supports and stabilization requirements.
o Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for subsea construction projects.
o Conduct feasibility assessments, including the impact of subsea structures on marine ecosystems.
o Perform structural analysis of underwater structures, considering factors like water depth, wave action, currents, and in-situ soil conditions.
o Collaborate with Pipeline engineers, structural engineers, and other specialists to create safe and effective subsea designs.
• Project Management and Coordination:
o Lead or participate in project planning and execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.
o Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, offshore personnel, and regulatory bodies.
o Manageresourcesandmaterialsforsubseaconstruction,ensuringtheymeet required technical specifications.
o Oversee the scheduling and logistical planning during project execution.

o Supervise and monitor the construction of subsea infrastructure, ensuring that design specifications are met. o Develop installation procedures and lifting arrangements. installation. site. associated with subsea construction. • Materials and Technology Management: o Select appropriate materials designed for subsea conditions. operated vehicles (ROVs), subsea robots, and specialized underwater construction equipment. and meet required safety standards. • Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management: o Ensure compliance with international, national, and local regulations governing subsea construction, including environmental protection laws. o Identify potential risks to project success (e.g., environmental, safety, or logistical risks) and implement mitigation strategies. o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, codes, and best practices related to subsea engineering. • Testing and Commissioning: o Oversee or conduct testing of our Products before they are put into full operation. o Troubleshoot issues found during testing and make necessary modifications or repairs. • Collaboration and Communication: o Work with project teams, including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, to ensure smooth project execution. o Provide regular reports to senior management or clients, outlining progress, challenges, and financial updates. o Communicate effectively with on-site personnel and remote teams to coordinate activities and resolve issues. |

Civil Engineers working on subsea projects typically spend time on offshore platforms, vessels, or at subsea construction sites, which may be in remote or challenging locations.

PERSON SPECIFICATION (QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE)
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field
(Master’s degree is a plus).

Experience: Several years of experience in subsea engineering, offshore construction, or related fields.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD), finite element analysis (FEA) software, and subsea engineering tools.

Knowledge: Familiarity with underwater construction methods, materials, and technologies, including subsea foundations, and offshore installation techniques.
