In this Operations Specialist position
You will under supervision, support delivery of customer operations processes and activities
You will provide administrative support such as taking orders from customer interface, check & enter received orders, shipping verifications, pricing verifications, etc.
You will assist with requests from sales such as quoting, exception deal management, historical account overview, billing corrections, etc.
You will collect/ deliver shipments within specified time by planning routes, liaising with external departments, timely communications, etc.
You will interact with import/ export departments for changes, make relevant changes and communicate adjustments to relevant stakeholders
You will carry out proper loading/ unloading of the loading unit/ loading security and report through appropriate tools such as scanning application, phones, etc.
You will maintain direct contact with dispatcher (inbound / outbound) and cartage driver
You will support events and exceptions, report back on the same
You will enter data into database or computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records
You will access stored information, place orders or respond to enquiries such as inventory levels or delivery schedules
You will interface with shipping agencies, transport companies, and customers to verify delivery prices and schedules
You will follow and achieve compliance with established procedures and ensure proper usage of operations processes and policies
You will resolve recurring issues faced during delivery as per defined processes, systems and methods
