Primarily responsible for providing expert and strategic legal advice to NMC’s management by setting internal governance policies and manage the impact of external factors. Evaluating and weighing multiple inputs and impacts of any decision or course of action. Identify issues if any and address them in a timely manner in order protect the interest and well-being on NMC.
Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel to CEO and guidance to senior leadership on healthcare-related matters, including compliance, regulatory issues, risk management, and contractual agreements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that business practices align with applicable healthcare laws and regulations.
Stay abreast of changes in healthcare laws and regulations, and proactively advise the organization on compliance requirements.
Develop and implement strategies to ensure the organization's adherence to healthcare regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
Manage legal aspects of company transactions, from negotiation to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with legal standards.
Ensure that contractual arrangements comply with applicable healthcare laws and regulations.
Assess and mitigate legal risks associated with healthcare operations and initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide legal support for healthcare initiatives and projects.
Oversee and manage healthcare-related litigation matters, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
Develop and implement strategies for resolving disputes efficiently and effectively.
Contribute to the development and updating of company policies to ensure compliance with healthcare laws and industry best practices.
Working closely with Senior management, and the Board of Directors on legal matters that require specialized expertise.
Qualifications
Education and Certification
Master’s Degree - law degree from accredited law school or related fields.
Knowledge and Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to think critically and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Providing expert and strategic legal advice to management Critically thinker to analyze a situation and make rational judgement.
Leadership ability to motivate and inspire other professional team members.
Evaluating and weighing multiple inputs and impacts of any decision or course of action.
Strategic thinker with excellent judgment and the ability to navigate complex legal issues while balancing legal and business considerations.
Experience
15+ years of experience with legal background of which 8 in leadership role, Healthcare experience in UAE will be an advantage
