We need a Financial Analyst
Job Overview:
The Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting the company’s financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing detailed reports, identifying trends, and delivering insights to enhance financial performance. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial goals align with broader business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial performance and prepare reports on trends, variances, and profitability.
- Conduct cost and margin analysis, and perform scenario modeling.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess business opportunities and risks.
- Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather data and address budget variances.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and support board/investor presentations.
- Ensure data accuracy by validating and reconciling financial data.
- Use systems like SAP, Oracle, and Power BI for data extraction and analysis.
- Support automation and reporting process improvements.
- Conduct market research to support strategic planning and competitive analysis.
- Provide insights and financial guidance for new projects and investment opportunities.
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and accounting standards.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Experience with reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree (MBA) or professional certifications (CFA, CPA) are an advantage.
- 2–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or a related role.
- Industry-specific experience (e.g., manufacturing, technology, or banking) is preferred.
