General Purpose
We are seeking an Enterprise Application Support Analyst for our IT applications and support teams. As an application support analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users and clients utilizing applications. You will play a vital role in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving application-related issues, as well as managing software updates, configurations, and enhancements. Your job is to ensure seamless operation of applications and contribute to overall organizational efficiency.
Nature & Scope
Essential Duties & Tasks:
General
· Provide technical support and guidance to end-users experiencing issues with software applications, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
· Investigate and diagnose application problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
· Monitor Application performance, identifying and resolving any performance bottlenecks or errors.
· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides and manuals, to aid users in utilizing applications efficiently.
· Engage with software vendors to escalate and resolve issues, coordinate updates, and ensure effective communication regarding software-related matters.
· Adhere to and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard organizational data and systems.
· Ability to handle incidents, problems and change. Calm and analytical when faced with major incidents on critical systems.
· Implement and drive automation focused on productivity improvements.
· Exhibits sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information with inherent confidence with operations and technology partners on regional or global basis.
· Assess risk and impact of production issues, escalating to the business and vendor in a timely manner.
Management & Department Responsibilities
· 2+ years of support experience is essential, preferably with Oracle Products.
· Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
· Support team members in performing work that meets the brand standards.
· Create and implement policies, procedures, guidelines and manuals.
· Ensure effective two-way and multicultural communications.
· Adhere to Company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct.
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree required in computer science, information technology, or related field.
· Strong Technical skills, including knowledge of application development and support methodologies.
· Minimum age 21.
Experience:
· 2 year of application support experience working within hospitality or IT related role
· Experience providing support for 24x7 production systems
Skills / Knowledge:
· Experience with Birchstreet Purchasing System Preferred
· Experience with common application platforms and technologies (e.g. Windows, SQL, scripting languages)
· Experience with ServiceNow
· Solid English language knowledge.
Work Conditions:
This is an office-based position with regular working hours.
