The Head of Sales is responsible for defining and implementing the Professional Printing Sales strategy for the META-CW Asia market and managing the sales team and activities to exceed business plans.
Epson Professional Printing product categories include Large/Wide format printers and ColorWorks label printers.
What you will do:
Business & Go to Market Plan Development (GTM)
Plan the implementation of the mid/long term business strategy, defined in conjunction with EME Business Units to deliver optimum sales ROI.
Manage the Business Plan process including updates at all levels of management.
Create revenue and SGA budget and activity plans within defined markets and regions.
Business Plan Implementation
Drive change to ensure the achievement of targets for profitable revenue and GTM plan growth.
Manage and support the implementation and success of sales strategy and business plans in the markets together with EME and local sales company stakeholders.
Maximise all new business development opportunities within the relevant market sector.
Maximise and support all sales & marketing efforts for the relevant sector as the visible senior external representative of Epson as follows:
develop key partner, customer and other relationships as appropriate
represent the business to the press, at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
Manage relationships effectively with other departments using internal and external resources and local sales company stakeholder resources.
Manage sales team and resources to ensure SGA costs are within budget.
Development and Implementation of Process
Develop and manage against key performance indicators to ensure process and rigor in following areas:
Demand generation activity with marketing
Sales activity measurement;
Forecast management
Pipeline management;
Opportunity & Account planning;
Marketing/Sales budget tracking.
Communication and Co-ordination
Input to the forecasting process for the assigned market and contribute to forecast accuracy by provision of information and enrichment.
Recruit and develop sales teams resourced to deliver the sales and marketing strategy.
Work proactively with all internal and external parties to achieve maximum level of communication.
Recruit, develop and manage a team resourced to deliver the sales strategy and achieve the required revenue results.
Motivate and appraise all direct reports and ensure that teams are managed effectively.
Ensure the management and reporting of key business and market data which will assist strategic business decisions.
What we ask for:
Extensive experience in developing a professional printing eco system, ideally gained with a LFP/WFP vendor organisation
Extensive public sector framework knowledge
Extensive knowledge of partnering with solution providers
Extensive leadership experience in a sales and marketing environment.
Experience operating in a complex Global matrix environment
Independent thinker with the ability to make decisions and act autonomously, if required.
Self-driver, self-sufficient and proactive.
The ability to manage a matrix organisation and use of centrally resourced functions.
Highly numerate, logical and with good verbal reasoning skills.
Good record of academic achievement
Good English language skills – spoken & written
Experience of managing sales teams in other GCC countries and/or Turkey is beneficial
