Food People has partnered with a leading food industry player in Dubai, seeking a Commercial Director to spearhead sales operations across various category products. This role requires a strategic leader with strong expertise in food service sales, supplier management, and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
Lead and manage the sales team, ensuring strong performance and market penetration.
Oversee procurement and sourcing strategies from both local and international suppliers.
Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with suppliers to enhance product offerings.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to drive business decisions.
Ensure operational excellence and profitability while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience leading food service sales teams across different categories.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing large sales teams.
Deep understanding of market trends, pricing strategies, and customer needs within the food industry.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
