Our vision for “function or BU” at BD

With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.
About the role

As a Service Engineer you will act as technical specialist responsible for pre-sales, installs configuration and support of MMS (Pyxis, Rowa and Alaris). This involves extensive customer interaction and service. The aim of the job is the smooth implementation, commissioning, and support of the system in an existing production environment.
Main responsibilities will include:

    Install, implement and support MMS hardware and software.
    Conduct client trainings on the MMS products.
    Provide advanced problem solving, troubleshooting and system consultation as needed for client.
    Perform upgrades to MMS software and hardware & preventive and corrective maintenance for the MMS products
    Commissioning MMS product and related devices after installation.
    Understand the production environment and processes and, if necessary, communicate adjustments with the customer.
    Provide written documentation to appropriate team members and customer.
    Order equipment and supplies.
    Coordinate client resources and assign project tasks.
    Complete weekly logs, expense reports, project plans, etc. and maintain account summaries

About you

    Bachelor's degree Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical is preferred or equivalent
    Relevant work experience in the field of automation, installations, robotics, IT or network experience. Hospital pharmacy/clinical experience is a plus.
    Establish and cultivate rapport with customers that is conducive to a long-term business relationship.
    Work closely with local and Global Customer Service, commercial, marketing, and other functions within BD to ensure alignment and achieve business goals.
    The position involves pushing, pulling, stooping, and lifting to 40 pounds.
    Excellent analytical skills and process orientated thinking
    Open to travel up to 75% per week across KSA and MENAT
