Employment: Full Time
The Head of Procurement will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities within Abu Dhabi Aviation. This strategic role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the company’s goals, ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high-quality standards. The successful candidate will lead a team of procurement professionals and collaborate closely with various departments to optimize supply chain processes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Aviation Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Local Purchase, Component Management, Material Planning/Support & Inventory Control, Technical Purchasing or preferably any other support services in an airline or third party maintenance base or any other large Aviation Engineering Organization.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams effectively.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build lasting relationships with suppliers.
• Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven experience in procurement for Rotary & Fixed-Wing aircrafts fleets (i.e. AgustaWestland, Bell Textron, Airbus Helicopter, Dash-8).
• Exceptional communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
