Role

The role involves preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing valuable insights to support business performance.

Collaborate across department functions and provide support in driving business strategies through effective financial planning and analysis.

 

Responsibilities

    Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variances and providing recommendations.
    Prepare financial analysis and reports to support business decision-making, working closely with the leadership team.
    Support the business in producing management reports and presentations for senior leadership.
    Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
    Analyze trends, financial performance, and business assumptions to contribute to the forecasting process.
    Work with department heads to ensure accurate and timely submission of departmental budgets and financial data.
    Provide insights into financial data to aid in business planning and strategy development.
    Collaborate with other departments to evaluate financial feasibility and support operational decisions.
    Review financial models to assess potential business opportunities or cost-saving measures.
    Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
    Support the business heads in overseeing internal controls, financial audits, and compliance reporting.
    Assist in ensuring timely and accurate submission of statutory filings and regulatory reports.
    Assist in improving financial reporting processes, systems, and tools.
    Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency in financial operations and reporting.
    Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for special projects as requested by the senior management.
    Prepare business cases and financial models for new projects or investments.
    Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business operations and their financial implications.
    Mentor and guide junior staff members or interns within the finance team.

 

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in finance, or related discipline
    At least 8 years of experience Accounting & Finance Analysis & Reporting

 

Competencies

    Strong people skills, outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
    Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
