Job Description
Area Sales Manager – Projects
Location: Dubai-UAE
Reports to: Country Sales Manager, UAE
Position Summary:
The Sales Manager for the UAE will be responsible for driving growth in Projects sales channel, focusing on expanding the current customer base and developing accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the building materials market, with a proven ability to increase market share and achieve sales targets through effective customer relationship management and strategic business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Growth and Customer Retention
Develop and execute a growth strategy to increase sales revenue from the existing customer base in the UAE.
Collaborate and develop solid relationships with applicators to drive product sales, optimize inventory levels, and ensure strong in-market execution.
Build long-term relationships with key accounts to foster loyalty and repeat business.
New Customer Development
Identify, target, and establish relationships with new customer in the UAE to expand market reach.
Conduct regular visits to potential and current customers to promote product offerings and identify new opportunities.
Market Analysis and Strategic Planning
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to develop data-driven sales strategies
Work closely with the marketing team to plan promotional activities that align with sales goals and increase brand visibility
Forecasting and Sales Reporting
Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts, track sales targets, and generate performance reports.
Use sales data and customer feedback to recommend adjustments to sales strategies and promotional efforts.
Team Collaboration
cross-functional teams collaboration, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure smooth operations and alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. An MBA is a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the building materials or construction industry.
Market Knowledge
Solid track record and strong understanding of the UAE market
Relationship Management
Proven track record in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Analytical Skills
Ability to analyze sales data, forecast trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Communication Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Goal-Oriented
Highly motivated with a results-driven approach, capable of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to travel within the UAE as needed for customer visits and business development activities.
Proficiency in Arabic & English.
