30780 – OPERATIONS ADVISOR

At Eni , we are looking for an Operations Advisor within our Branch in Qatar . You will be advising and providing operational inputs to the Project Management team (PMT) to ensure project deliverables meet Operations expectations in term of safety, operability, reliability and maintainability over the facility design life cycle.

As a member of the Operations Expansion Start-Up Department, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing execution of the Operations deliverables for assigned QG project through daily interfaces with PMT, Operations Start-up Managers and the QG permanent Organization.
• Providing all inputs to project documentations for all operations related documents and ancillary system (Project Philosophies, PIDs, C&E charts, ESD logic diagrams, Spare parts, First fill, Operator Training System, Pipeline Management System, Emergency Pipeline Repair Strategy, Hand-Over process and philosophies and Project Gate documents).
• Reviewing and inputting key end-user specifications such as ICSS HMI specifications, Hierarchy views, Operator Training Systems and Pipeline Management System where relevant.
• Maintaining appropriate issues register to identify areas where improvements and/or recovery plans are required. Reviewing findings and corrective actions required from internal and external readiness and/or peer reviews, identifying parties responsible and monitoring closure.
• Providing monthly progress and stewardship reporting and identification of the key issues to Operations and QG Management.
• Facilitating Operations lessons learned into the project design, identifying areas for improvement and assisting in providing and implementing best practices where applicable.
• Ensuring all lessons learned that are occurring in the construction, commissioning, start-up, and initial operations are being captured through management of the lesson learned data base.
• Managing the risk assessment of deliverables, audit findings and readiness reviews findings to identify the priorities required for each responsible party. Coordinating actions to address risk mitigation requirements associated with new technologies that will be used in expansion projects.
• Facilitating Operations handover process and documentation from Project to Asset owner.
• Ensuring all activities are undertaken in compliance with Company Safety, Health and Environment and Quality policies, regulations and standards.

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive supervisory and technical experience in gas operations, including relevant experience in various project development activities, i.e. commissioning and start-up.
• Extensive understanding of facility operational requirements in the areas of safety, operability, reliability & maintainability, environmental regulations and safety systems.
• Ability to function effectively in a multi-cultural team.
• Leadership and consensus building skills.
• Intermediate level of English language.
• Computer literacy including MS Office applications.
