Position: Sales Manager

As a Sales Manager, your role involves analyzing local market trends and competitor activities to recommend strategies that ensure the hotel remains a leader in the marketplace. You will focus on driving future and repeat business by identifying growth opportunities. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing local market trends and competitor activity to identify potential business leads.
• Developing customer accounts and traveling within the local area to increase business for the hotel/cluster and grow market share across all revenue streams.
• Negotiating room rates and packages with corporate clients.
• Developing and implementing innovative local marketing initiatives, including social media strategies.
• Preparing company contracts in alignment with current business and pricing conditions.
• Working within existing business strategies while recognizing and seizing potential opportunities.
• Collaborating with other hotel departments to create exceptional guest experiences and build comprehensive sales programs.
• Attending sales events as required.
• Producing accurate and timely reports for senior management, including details of appointments, calls made, and business leads.
• Responding to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

A successful Sales Manager works on behalf of both guests and the hotel team. To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

• A positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Professional grooming standards.
• Flexibility to adapt to various work situations.
• The ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Proven experience in a sales role with a successful track record of closing deals.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the local market.
• Familiarity with the hospitality industry.
• A passion for sales and achieving targets.
• A degree-level qualification in a relevant field is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD400.000 - BD500.000 per month
