– Actively promote and market the organization’s services and products to small-scale farmers in designated areas.
– Identify clients’ needs and offer suitable products, while also exploring new product opportunities.
– Help identify, recruit, and screen potential clients who meet the credit eligibility criteria.
– Provide credit education, explaining available credit options, policies, procedures, and the pros and cons of borrowing.
– Document client inquiries for easy follow-up.
– Receive loan applications and assist in processing, appraisal, and disbursement.
– Offer support services after loan disbursement, follow up on repayments, and manage recovery of bad debts.
– Monitor the credit portfolio weekly, ensuring proper use of funds, and prepare reports for the supervisor.
– Provide agricultural extension services and advice on crop, horticulture, and livestock production.
– Attend monthly staff meetings for updates and feedback.
– Maintain networking with key stakeholders, including County Government officials.
– Carry out any other tasks assigned by management.

 
**Job Requirements:**

 

– Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Cooperative Management, or Business Management.
– C+ and above in O-level education.
– At least 3 years of experience promoting agricultural products and improving crop/animal production practices.
– At least 3 years of experience in agricultural extension work and development programs, especially in farmer cooperatives and agricultural credit.
– 2 years of experience working in a microfinance office.
