We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our dynamic team in the retail industry. Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts and ledgers
• Monitor financial transactions for compliance with company policies and regulations
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support management decisions
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the retail industry
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
