Cost Accountant - Dallah Holding Media, Qureos Inc, Qatar

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and analytical Cost Accountant to join our finance team in a short-term contract with possibility of fulltime contract depends on performance. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring our company's expenses, ensuring adherence to budget and identifying areas for cost reduction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Developing, analyzing, and setting standard costs

• Collecting and analyzing data about a company’s operational costs

• Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis

• Performing account reconciliations

• Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management

• Recommending changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit

• Job Profitability report

Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of mathematics and statistics

• Strong financial analysis skills

• Collaboration and teamwork

• Effective communication, including writing, speaking and active listening

• Excellent attention to detail

Qualifications:

At least 3 years work experience on the same field

Professional accounting qualification and university degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferably CPA or CMA but bot required.
