About the role

As a Chemical Technician at Kerry Ingredients in Oman, you will be responsible for conducting analytical testing of food samples, performing line inspections, and executing physico-chemical tests. You will also be expected to demonstrate computer literacy and contribute to maintaining high food safety standards. Training in Food Safety ISO 22000 and Lead Auditor courses is desirable.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct analytical testing of food samples to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Perform line inspections and physico-chemical testing to monitor and maintain product standards.
• Utilize computer applications for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining and updating documentation related to testing procedures and results.

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or those with up to 1 year of experience in the food industry are welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical skills for food sample testing.
• Familiarity with line inspection processes and physico-chemical testing methods.
• Computer literacy for managing data and documentation.
• Desirable: Training in Food Safety ISO 22000 and Lead Auditor course.
