Refining and Fuels Products Portfolio Manager - Downstream Chemicals

Eastern Hemisphere - Ideally based in UK, Europe or Dubai

Our Downstream Chemical Team uses techniques to improve oil and gas well productivity in both conventional and unconventional formations. We provide our customers with effective chemical diversion stimulation treatment that boosts production while lowering operating costs. Our on-site services provides real-time support, guidance and troubleshooting to ensure our customers function effectively and safely.
 

Be part of the solution

As the Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for the refinery and fuels product portfolio. You will develop and execute the strategy, strengthen brand equity and drive return on technology investment.  You will work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders and functional disciplines to make strategic investment decisions, go-to-market strategy, development of product marketing materials, and support of production processes. You will be responsible for the portfolio’s functional, business and financial performance.

As the Portfolio Manager you will also be responsible for:

    Leading the portfolio management team, executing strategy and lifecycle portfolio management for their product portfolio
    Hiring, developing and retaining the talent in the team
    Collaborating with sales & commercial, and marketing teams to gather market research, the voice of the customer and competitor intelligence to grow the product portfolio.
    Partnering with Marketing to deploy the strategy for both established and new products.
    Providing a high level of support for the product portfolio, including application, technical information, key field product application, well prognosis, and product performance information.
    Delivering business growth through comprehensive lifecycle management that optimises New Product Introduction, Advanced Technology Development, Service and Productivity initiatives.
    Based on market and technology dynamics, plans and designs platform strategies for short-term/long-term product positioning and business impact.
    Developing product portfolio roadmaps to optimize profitability while ensuring technology advancements are validated with customers and regulatory agencies.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in the role you will have:

    Experience in Downstream process operations and fuel additives
    Knowledge of Eastern Hemisphere market and customers
    A track record in sales, business development, operations, service delivery, technology or technical support.
    Financial acumen and understand how to effectively run a P & L
    Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple disciplines and levels
    Expertise in driving variable cost productivity (VCP) and Inventory management.
    A Growth mindset, problem-solving ability and results orientated
    Familiarity with ISO, API, and other regulatory standards.
    Good customer relationship skills and the ability to assimilate technical and commercial information strategically for successful outcomes
    Travel required (>25%)
