Job Title: Purchasing Officer

Location: Buquwa

Department: Procurement/Purchasing

Reports To: Purchasing Manager / Supply Chain Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to join our dynamic procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing new products and items that align with our market strategy and customer needs. The Purchasing Officer will play a key role in maintaining supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that our inventory meets both the quality and quantity demands of the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new products and trends that align with company objectives and customer preferences.

Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with potential suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and quality for new products.

Purchasing Strategy: Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies that optimize inventory levels and contribute to overall profitability.

Product Selection: Evaluate product samples and specifications to make purchasing decisions that meet company standards and customer expectations.

Budget Management: Adhere to budget constraints while seeking cost-effective procurement options and managing expenses related to new products.

Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to align purchasing activities with promotional campaigns and product launches.

Inventory Monitoring: Monitor stock levels and forecast future needs to ensure timely procurement of new products.

Supplier Performance: Assess and monitor supplier performance to ensure delivery timelines, quality standards, and compliance with contracts.

Reporting: Prepare and present procurement reports, including analytics on purchasing trends, supplier performance, and inventory levels to management.

Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with internal policies and legal regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From BD200.000 per month
