The Role

The Hard Services Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the physical infrastructure and technical aspects of a facility. His role focuses on the maintenance, operation, and optimization of the building's systems, infrastructure and equipment and reporting to the facilities manager

Key Responsibilities

    Maintenance and Operations: Oversee and coordinate maintenance programs (PPM, etc..) schedules, and procedures to ensure the smooth functioning of all hard services, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems through 3rd party contractors.
    Equipment Management: Manage the inspection, maintenance, and repair of facility equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and projects completion. This includes coordinating with vendors, contractors, and technicians as needed.
    Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and safety standards for all hard services. Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify and address safety and compliance issues.
    Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and manage the budget for hard services, including forecasting expenses, tracking costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
    Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to address potential facility emergencies, such as fire incidents, equipment failures, or natural disasters.
    Asset Management: Develop and maintain an asset management program to track and manage facility equipment, including inventory control, lifecycle planning, and capital replacement projects, maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
    Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including facility and property management to identify and prioritize maintenance and or repair projects, participate in facility planning and design projects, providing input on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure

•    Actively promote and implement ESG initiatives across the compound and drive the adoption of policies and procedures and ensure these are adhered consistently across the compound

• Ensure that the sustainability ESG agenda is fully embrace. Actively drive initiatives set by the Facilities and Senior Property Manager

• Be abreast of any new initiatives, which could improve ESG performance across the compound.

• Work with the Savills site team to assist in the planning and smooth delivery of events and community programs across the compound.


Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as engineering or facilities management.
• Relevant experience in facilities maintenance and repair, including experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other technical systems.
• Knowledge of local building codes, industry best practice and regulations.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 2+ years experience in facilities or hard services management
