A leading construction business in the UAE is currently looking to add a recruitment professional to the team.

As a Construction Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the workforce of our client's organisation. Your expertise in identifying future hiring needs, developing comprehensive job descriptions, and sourcing potential candidates through various channels will be crucial. You will conduct interviews, assess applicants suitability for open positions, and complete necessary paperwork for new hires. Your ability to promote the company's reputation as an attractive employment opportunity will be key in attracting top talent.

    Identify future hiring needs and develop job descriptions and specifications
    Collaborate with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements
    Attract suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
    Conduct interviews and sort through applicants to fill open positions
    Assess applicants knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions
    Complete paperwork for new hires
    Promote the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity
    Manage internship programs
    Keep up-to-date on current employment legislation and regulations and enforce them within the company
    Provide recruitment reports to team managers

Requirements

    Proven experience in recruitment within the construction industry
    Strong knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
    Excellent communication skills for conducting interviews and liaising with department managers
    Ability to develop comprehensive job descriptions and specifications
    Experience in managing internship programs
    Proficiency in using databases, online employment forums, social media for candidate sourcing
