Job Overview:

To work as member of the procurement team at McDermott in the Pipeline Production Group (PPG). Role involves but not limited to raising requisitions, part orders, order and cost tracking. As the PPG department is growing globally the workload is also growing and additional personnel are needed to help with this increase of workload.
Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

    Raising material requisitions as per Materials Requisition Form (MRF) sent by the equipment coordinators, technicians and engineers/PMT
    This process includes floating request for Quotations from the SCM (buyer), getting correct ident codes and then inputting into the appropriate system – Oracle, SPMAT 7 or SMAT 10x – which is used by the respective project
    Following up and making sure the requisition is in the system and gets approved by PMT and it gets assigned to a buyer
    Preparing SSJ (single source justification) for particular PRs and making sure it is completely approved by PMT prior to sending it to buyer
    Following up with buyer for PO issuance, payment status (if it is an advanced payment then a series of process to be followed up with Account Payables for receipt in Oracle, MCC, etc.) and delivery of the purchased items until they are received in the PPG shop
    Making receipt of the received items in the Mcdermott system (Oracle)
    Preparing project and non-project cost tracking and provide a report to PMT on a weekly basis
    Updating order status in the PPG order tracking sheet on the PPG SharePoint
    Updating cost tracking file for budgeted and unbudgeted items that will be purchased (depends on project requirements to control and monitor budget)

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education:

    Education – High School or higher
    Previous experience / background in procurement and the systems used (3-5 years)
    Computer literate, with a good working knowledge with excel, word and Microsoft applications
    Hardworking, polite, friendly, honest and punctual
    Language capabilities of the English language both spoken and written
