ENOWA aims to establish itself as the world's most advanced renewable energy hub and the first large-scale fully renewable energy system. The energy sector's primary goals include:

    Achieving a 100% renewable energy system.
    Becoming a global leader in new energy technology manufacturing, installation, innovation, and talent development.
    Developing clean energy-intensive industries, such as green hydrogen production and brine processing, powered by low-cost renewable energy.

ENOWA plans to utilize various technologies, including large-scale solar PV, wind power, pump hydro-station, geothermal energy, and clean-fuel gas turbines - as an integrated decentralized solution to meet the increased electricity demands due to a high degree of electrification.

The candidate will work on projects involving these technologies and various execution strategies, with construction starting in August 2024 and continuing through 2030.

Expectations

 

Support the contracting manager manage the lifecycle of the contract from signature to closure and helps drive the contract performance and compliance.

Key Accountabilities:

 

    Effectively deal with basic contract related queries from proponent, buyers, and stakeholders
    Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    Maintain, update and upload all required contract documentation via the standardized templates
    Identify any deviations / red flags that indicate supplier instability, or poor performance
    Maintain acceptance and payment registers
    Maintain Project specific contract log
    Keep track of the availability and validity of insurance policies
    Keep track of the availability and validity of bonds
    Develop spend visualizations which interprets the data, providing trends, demand drivers, themes, and insight

    Draft contract amendments and modifications as needed
    Monitor compliance with contract management plans
    Administer contracts to ensure accuracy of pricing, scope variations, updates to terms and conditions
    Monitor and report on contract milestones and outcomes
    Support the relevant stakeholders in developing related materials to implement innovative performance and measurement metrics, such as KPIs
    Flag any contract deviations affecting payment process
    Update MoMs regularly to keep track of interactions, changes, and alignment with involved stakeholders
    Support in stakeholder communications and provide guidance on contractual matters
    Support Contract Manager in managing the contract lifecycle from initiation through contract closure

 Required Skills:
 

    BSc in Business Administration, finance, commercial law or a related field; additional qualification is a plus
    Proven experience in contract management (3 - 6 years)
    Relevant experience in EPC-projects in the Energy sector
    General knowledge in the Procurement cycle
    Basic financial acumen
    Knowledge of legal and financial requirements pertaining to contracts
    Excellent writing skills
    Attention to detail
    Strong analytical and organization skills
    Ability to liaise and coordinate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

 

The following skills could be considered a plus:

    Arabic speaker
    Knowledge of contract management workspace on SAP Ariba

 

Additional skills

 

    Knowledge of SAP ERP system
    Fast learner, flexible, pragmatic and committed.
    Self-driven and pro-active attitude, ability to work independently.
    Systematic and results driven.

    Interested in working in international environment in procurement area.
