Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of accounting experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry and possess a valid driving license. The accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management:
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Monitor and report on budget variances.
• Inventory and Cost Control:
• Oversee inventory management and cost control processes.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure accurate stock records.
• Payroll and Taxation:
• Process payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries and wages.
• Handle tax filings and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
• Financial Reporting:
• Generate financial reports for management review.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Compliance and Audit:
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate audit processes.
• Additional Duties:
• Assist with financial aspects of new branch openings and expansions.
• Support other finance-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Proven track record in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Other Requirements:
• Valid driving license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RO250.000 - RO400.000 per month

Experience:

• Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)

Expected Start Date: 01/09/2024
