Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

The Recreation Supervisor at DAMAC Maison Hotels, primary responsibility is to ensure the seamless operation and exceptional guest experience of our recreational facilities. Key roles typically include overseeing the day-to-day activities within our recreational areas, including swimming pools, fitness centers, and other leisure amenities. Essentially, the Recreation Supervisor plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall guest experience by providing a diverse range of recreational opportunities and ensuring their smooth operation.

    To be accountable for the performance of Damacians and ensure a motivated and focused team.
    Be responsible for delivering consistent guest satisfaction that exceeds expectations meets required standards and leads by example.
    Supervise Gym Attendants/Lifeguards and Kids Club attendants to ensure that they receive adequate and ongoing training to perform and improve performance on their duties.
    Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with the gym guests to create a personalized and attentive service
    Ensure that the set-up of the Guest Facility Recreation areas is always as per the standards
    Initiating new standards or initiating a change of standards suitable for operations, where required
    Maintain concise records of all recreation items e.g. towels, furniture, gym equipment, balls, etc. by doing weekly and monthly inventories.
    Understand, enforce, and set the example of the DAMAC Maison Recreation rules and regulations
    Knowledgeable on all Gaming Centre/Billiard Halls, Swimming Pool & Cinema Hall facilities, memberships, and service offerings.

Experience and Technical Knowledge

    Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
    High level of written and verbal English
    Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Word, Excel & and PowerPoint
    Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Sports or other relevant studies

Qualifications

    In-depth knowledge of recreational activities, equipment, and safety protocols
    CPR and lifeguard certification preferred.
