Role Overview:
Planet is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and detail oriented team player to join the Risk, Compliance & Governance Team in the Middle East, based in Dubai UAE.

What you will do:

    You will be responsible for undertaking operations necessary for quality testing within quality control
    Review accuracy of transactions recorded in the system and provide real time decisions (approve/reject)
    Participate in development and implementation of reporting suite for high-risk cases and system issues by conducting investigations and recommending solutions
    Coordinate with merchants for rectification of transactional data
    Participate in internal assessments of key processes through a risk-based approach, to ensure regulatory compliance to ensure fraud and credit risk are acceptable to the business
    Responsible for identifying and troubleshooting system issues/bugs as and when identified
    Assist and train other analysts and business Teams on processes and system flows
    Conduct risk-based investigations in a swift and efficient manner
    Proactively perform other duties when assigned

Who you are

    Strong academic record to degree level supported by any relevant sector related and / or professional qualifications;
    Appropriate level of knowledge and experience of best practice fraud risk management and governance frameworks and methodologies;
    Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
    Knowledge of local fraud mitigation, compliance and risk management strategies
    Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
    Ability to act as a ‘business partner’ to the organisation and not purely fulfil a box ticking mandate; the ability to provide strategic, analytical and business support;
    Excellent communication skills with the credibility to gain respect internally and, to the extent appropriate to the role, externally with people at all levels
