ob Summary:
The project manager is responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of software projects.They oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, including defining project goals and objectives, establishing timelines and budgets, assembling and leading project teams, monitoring project progress, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Duties & Responsibilities:

    Develop comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, timeline, resource requirements, deliverables and budget for projects.
    Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and requirements.
    Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed.
    Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and conduct status meetings on a regular basis.
    Monitor project progress and make adjustments to the plan as needed to keep projects on track.
    Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure projects adhere to the organization’s policies, procedures, and quality standards.
    Identify and manage project-related risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
    Track and report on project metrics, such as budget, timeline, and deliverables.
    Provide regular status updates to project sponsors and other key stakeholders.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients/stakeholders and ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
    Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field e.g. computer science, information technology, business.
    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or PRINCE2 (Practitioner).

Minimum Experience:

    At least five years of software industry experience in planning and delivering mid and large size software projects for clients.
    Proven experience in developing comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and other requirements.
    Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional project teams and act as a liaison between project teams and stakeholders.
    Experience in developing and  providing documentation related to project status, risks, and issues.
    Demonstrated experience in conducting regular status meetings to provide updates on project progress.
    Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients/ stakeholders and ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
    Possess a strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
    Experience in using project management tools and softwares like MS Project and collaboration tools like Confluence (JIRA and Wiki).

Required Skills and Experience:

    Strong project management skills, including the ability to create detailed project plans and budgets.
    Strong analytical,organization and leadership skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsand people from different backgrounds.
    Extensive experience in handling, delivering multiple projects in different domains for clients.
    Relationship, partnership, and alliance building skills.
    Knowledge of business and management principles.
    Proficient in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
    Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
    Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    Strong skills in business writing (i.e. Project scope, risk documentation, client communication, internal communication etc).
