POSITION:

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Kuwait

Contract type: Permanent

We are ADB SAFEGATE. Our purpose is to lead the world in smart solutions to handle more aircraft and passengers safely, sustainably, and efficiently at airports around the globe.

As a Project Manager at ADB SAFEGATE, you will be responsible for managing and executing customer projects within aviation infrastructure. From order to completion and customer acceptance, you will oversee activities such as contract management, negotiation, project sourcing, budgeting, delivery, financial tracking, and leading the project team daily. Your role will involve dealing with various stakeholders, including customers, authorities, contractors, suppliers, and internal contacts.

This position will be based in Kuwait until project completion and handover, reporting directly to the Regional Director of Projects.

The opportunity:

• Manage the entire project lifecycle from startup to successful handover.
• Develop project schedules, coordinate deliveries, and allocate resources effectively.
• Supervise the site team and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Oversee the production and acceptance of project handover.
• Provide guidance to site engineers and test and commissioning engineers.
• Identify and implement best practices in project execution with the support of specialists.
• Forecast project finances on a monthly basis.
• Support the Sales Team and Bid Managers during the tender process.
• Deliver monthly project progress reports.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager overseeing air-side projects.
• Proficiency in managing FIDIC contracts.
• Demonstrated experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in subcontract management.
• Professional qualifications are required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using computer software for work processes.
