Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.
We’re currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Human Resources team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

The Role

As the Manager Delivery Services, you will be responsible for driving the accurate & timely delivery of payroll results through, continuous monitoring of procedures and accuracy in processing and reporting, both in relation to delivery of income and compliance via payroll.

You will also be responsible for:

    Championing new ways of working based on continuous improvement and a customer centric approach
    Supporting with successful implementation of any change impacting pension/payroll configuration or any changes impacting ‘Payroll Delivery’
    Providing proactive payroll services in accordance with legal/regulatory requirements and Bank’s policies.
    Managing the payroll offshore team to ensure controls are being followed
    Provide proactive payroll service in accordance with legal/regulatory requirements and Bank’s policies.
    Managing the delivery of the HRDS adhoc as and when it arise aiming to successful implementation within the given timelines including automation initiatives.
    Responsible for the Central bank Portal Governance and accurate recording of employee’s details.

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

    8  years plus experience in operational Payroll processes and requirements.
    Proven ability to demonstrate strong analytical, influencing, facilitation and stakeholder management skills up to Management & Senior Management level.
    An understanding of operational & compliance risk and experience in identifying & implementing controls to mitigate such risks.
    An understanding of process improvement tools and techniques
    Good numerical and analytical skill
    Proven record of successful execution in operations and transformation projects.
    Strong level of planning & organizational skills.
    Strong verbal and written skills
    Ability to use data and analytics to drive organizational improvement.
    Ability to work under pressure in a matrix environment with conflicting demands.
    Sound judgmental skills to identify and resolve challenges and issues.
    Ability to make considered decisions that protect and enhance HSBCs values, reputation and commercial interests.
    Advanced level MS Excel skills are essential.
