Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Support Team Lead to supervise and guide an IT support team in providing exceptional technical support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

    Lead and motivate a team of IT support technicians in resolving user issues related to hardware, software, network, and other IT infrastructure.
    Develop, implement, and maintain IT support policies and procedures to ensure efficient and consistent service delivery.
    Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems, escalating critical issues to senior IT staff as needed.
    Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person assistance.
    Manage IT support ticketing system, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely resolution of user requests.
    Monitor system performance and identify potential issues to proactively prevent downtime.
    Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies.
    Coach and mentor IT support team members, fostering their professional development.
    Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
    Prepare reports and metrics to measure the performance of the IT support team.
    Manage stock/procurement for IT related devices/accessories.

Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    Minimum 5-8 years of experience in IT support or a related technical role.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
    Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
    Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and other IT related issues.
    Experience with ticketing systems and IT support tools.
    Strong working knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) principles a plus.
