What We’re Looking For

    A Degree in Finance or a related field is preferred, from an Academic Institution or Professional Qualification (ACCA, CIMA or similar).
    A minimum of 5 years of Finance Experience in a Luxury Hotel environment in the International Luxury Hospitality industry.
    Proven track record in Achieving Financial Targets, managing budgets, and implementing cost control measures without compromising on quality and service.
    Sensational Teamwork and Collaboration skills to work effectively within a group and across departments with Fellow ‘FIVERs.’
    Strong understanding of Industry Regulations is beneficial.
    Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English.
    A Proactive Nature, coupled with a meticulous Eye for Detail, ensuring every aspect of the Operation is curated to perfection.
    A hands-on attitude, fuelled by a ‘Can-Do!’ Spirit.

Key Responsibilities

    Oversees and directs all aspects of the Finance and Accounting department, ensuring Smooth and Efficient operations.
    Supervises and ensures the Efficient running of all Accounting Functions within FIVE.
    Ensures all Financial and Management reports are Accurate and Available by their Due Dates.
    Reviews and certifies any Internal or External Financial Reporting before distribution, ensuring the Highest standards of Accuracy and Compliance.
    Oversees the Timely preparation and release of Meticulous monthly Financial Statements and other related Reports.
    Defines and implements ‘FIVE-Styled’ internal control Policies and Procedures to Maximise FIVE’s profitability.
    Maintains a Robust System of internal Accounting control, ensuring transactions are executed in Compliance with generally accepted Accounting Principles and specific country Legislation.
    Manages the preparation of FIVE’s Yearly Operating Budget, ensuring it aligns with FIVE’s World-Class standards and objectives.
    Monitors and manages the Budget, ensuring all Financial Goals are met and any variances are addressed Promptly.
    Ensures books, records, and accounts are maintained Accurately, reflecting the transactions and administration of FIVE’s assets.
    Verifies that all Balance Sheet accounts are fully Reconciled on a monthly basis, with any discrepancies Immediately identified and corrected.
    Leads and develops the Finance Team, fostering a Culture of Excellence and Continuous Improvement.
    Provides Training and Support to Team Members, ensuring they are equipped with the Skills and Knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
    Engages in Strategic Financial Planning, providing Insightful and Visionary financial guidance to support FIVE’s Goals and Ambitions.
    Collaborates with Senior Management to develop and implement strategies for Financial Growth and Stability.
    Maintains effective Communication with Stakeholders, providing regular Updates on financial performance and key initiatives.
    Builds strong Relationships with External Partners, including Auditors, Regulatory Bodies, and Financial Institutions.
    Facilitates and oversees any internal or external Audits, ensuring Full Compliance with audit Requirements and Standards.
