 Overview

Seeking a dynamic, resourceful, and proficient Contracts Specialist – Procurement, to manage Core42’s supply portfolio, ensuring transparency of spending and developing innovative, cost-efficient sourcing & category management strategies.

The opportunity

To play a key role providing high level day-to-day administrative & coordination support for a range of procurement services across a global, new age, AI-driven organisation providing critical digital transformation solutions for the government and large enterprises.

Responsibilities

    Conduct Procurement Planning activities and liaise with End Users to create an efficient demand plan for their respective departments and business units.
    Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies.
    Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practices.
    Create partnership contracts with relevant suppliers and negotiate best prices in comparison to the market.
    Implement methodologies and recommend ways to assess inventory management systems and rate agreements to achieve cost-efficient procurement processes for regular spent inventory.
    Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers, ensuring that a professional and consistent approach with all supplier relationships.
    Review, create and analyze Procurement Spent Analysis reports, Procurement Planned reports and related methodologies to enable efficient procurement.
    Implement and initiate best practices to enable effective ERP and online procurement processes.
    Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.
    Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
    Build, maintain and manage vendor management processes and engage with vendors based on supplier-classification.
    Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes.
    Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers.
    Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
    Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques.
    Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
    Assist in the design of the ERP system at the Procurement level.
    Build and strengthen key relationships with internal and external customers.
    Comply with the Group Procurement Policy and report to the Procurement Manager for all activities.

    Savings optimization in procurement
    Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
    In-depth knowledge of purchase, negotiation, commercials and cost breakdown
    Project management skills
    Expertise in Procurement Demand Planning
    A foundation of fiscal responsibility and an eye for detail

 Qualifications

    Ability to build trust and foster long-term relationships.
    In-depth knowledge of purchase, negotiation, commercials, and cost breakdown.
    An understanding of distribution processes and components.
    Experience in launching new procurement related initiatives.
    Excellent communication and persuasion skills
