We are seeking an experienced and motivated Compliance & Regulatory Manager to support business growth and help us think strategically about regulatory compliance..
What you’ll be doing

    Regulatory Engagement: Stay updated on crypto regulatory developments, engage with regulators, and participate in industry forums.
    Compliance Oversight: Develop and enforce compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulations.
    KYC, KYT, AML Implementation: Design and implement robust KYC, KYT, and AML frameworks to mitigate financial risks.
    Policy Development: Create and maintain internal policies for regulatory compliance and risk management.
    Audit and Monitoring: Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance status and address deficiencies.
    Legal Collaboration: Work closely with legal counsel on license applications and regulatory filings.
    Training and Awareness: Provide training to employees on compliance requirements and promote a culture of compliance.
    Risk Assessment: Identify and assess regulatory risks, and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.

The Ideal Candidate

    Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
    Advanced degree or certification in Compliance, KYC/AML - ACAMS certification or similar
    Previous experience in regulatory affairs and compliance within the trading, payments or cryptocurrency industry.
    Strong understanding of relevant regulations such as AML/CFT, KYC, and data privacy laws.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with regulators and internal stakeholders.
    Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing regulatory dynamics.
