Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Junior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Mission

The job involves a lot of work in SAP, but also interaction with different colleagues within the organization. We thus expect that you like to work in an international organization with colleagues from many different countries, and that you possess good English skills.

Accountabilities

    Daily bookkeeping in a busy and goal-oriented project organization.
    Work with all the aspects of general ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable bookkeeping.
    Assist in the head office reporting and the tax return filings. You will be given training as needed to fulfil the job.

Required Skills/ Knowledge

    Accounting experience (3 – 5 years of experience as an accountant).
    SAP knowledge
    Strong grasp of financial concepts and accounting principles.
    Ability to work well with the team.
    Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines. Intellectual curiosity and willingness to develop different kinds of expertise in addition to his/her own area of responsibility.
    Capability in planning and managing his/her own tasks autonomously.
    Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
    Flexibility and good skills in evaluating priorities and urgencies.
    Office workload and strategic choice

Education / Qualifications
 

Degree in Business Administration/Accounting

Languages

Arabic & English
