Are you ready to exert your customer, shopper, and business insights to bring us competitive advantages and maximized profitability? If so, you could become our new Area Sales Manager for Muscat & Batinah governate markets and you will report to our Business Unit Head

As the new Area sales manager, you will drive sales growth, develop sales and distribution fundamentals, and lead a team of Sales supervisors in your assigned area, delivering sales targets and managing day-to-day sales operations responsibly, aligned with set targets, business plans, and Arla standards.

You will be responsible for:

• Planning, directing, and controlling the operations of the TT business of Arla in Muscat & Batinah governate
• Leading, coaching and developing a team of sale supervisors to achieve maximum performance
• Ensuring agreed short and long-term business targets are met and that the corporate image and its products are protected and further developed
• Ensuring that Arla is the preferred supplier to retail customers
• Conducting periodical sales meetings as per the schedule at different levels –Supervisor and Salesman level.
• Developing customer relations at all levels along with conducting annual BDA’s & sale progress meetings with major retail customers
• Ensuring all Sales KPI’s are consistently delivered by all territories and routes
• Implementing the perfect store program and ensure 100% audit compliance
• Managing the trade marketing spends in line with the assigned budgets
• Driving efficiencies by optimizing journey plans and strategies for route to market
• Managing company assets and account receivables

Ideal Candidate for the role:

• A Sales experience of at least 4 years within the FMCG in Traditional Trade
• Proven ability to motivate and lead teams to achieve sales targets.
• Experience in managing diverse teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• In-depth understanding of sales markets and trends, with the ability to analyze and apply this knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to drive sales growth and close deals
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Valid driving license for the GCC region
