Architecture & exterior designer

We are looking for an artistic, detailed-oriented candidate with good interpersonal skills for the position of Architecture & exterior - Interior Designer, who can think creatively about the use of space, color, movement, and with creative inspiration.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to determine requirements & needs.
• Design & create solutions (Sketches, Plans & Specifications).
• Review design and detailed design submittals, plans, and construction details to ensure technical standard requirements are met.
• Design and value engineering alternatives for products. This process should be design-led and examples used from previous interior design experience.
• Prepare working drawings and specifications for implementing the design (including materials, finishes, and furnishings).
• Collaborate with professional and technical consultants (mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers, architects, audio-visual consultants).
• Prepare the scope of work and timeline, drawings, and conceptual details
• Attend coordination meetings concerning all design matters.
• Follow up on preparation of the material list, sample boards, and bill of quantities for the approved design.

Skills:

landscaping design

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture.
• Maximum of 5 - 8 years’ experience required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Max, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion, or similar design software.
• Strong commercial and interior design knowledge.
• Ability to focus on multiple projects and design details.
• Experience and ability to read and comprehend contracts and agreements.
• Ability to develop project proposals.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision.
• Very good command of English language.
