Admin and HR Specialist - TARTEEB Events & MArketing, Talent Pal, Manama, Bahrain

Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.

2. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.

3. Nurture a positive working environment.

4. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

5. Support employee opportunities for professional development.

6. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

7. bring into the notice of the Management of the Company by identifying the involvement of any employee in malfeasance activity(s) and take appropriate action as determined by the Management.

8. Issue Inter Office Circulars with regard to general /extra ordinary event(s)/meeting(s).

9. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.

10. Any Other duty assigned by the Managing Director of the Company.

Recruitment and Retention:

Develop and oversee a recruitment process.

Review job advertisements prior to posting, screen CVs, conduct telephone screenings, participate in interviewing candidates, and ensure that documentation is collected and recorded/filed.

Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as per requirement.

Oversee all labour engagement and manage the new hire orientation and exit process.

Compliance, Documentation and Record Keeping:

Annually review TARTEEB Handbook, recommending amendments needed due to changes in local conditions or labour laws.

GOSI and LMRA Enrollment.

Update internal databases (e.g., record medical, annual or maternity leave)

Organize and maintain personnel records.

Maintain and update record of personal files of all the employees with requisite documents/credentials along with the record of Annual Performance Review of each employee.

Maintaining digital and physical personnel records such as employment contracts

Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides.

8. Create and maintain master HR files; ensure paperwork is complete and compliant with regulatory requirements and company needs.

Compensation and Benefits:

Monitor compensation - ensuring internal equity & compliance and benefits.

Facilitate job analysis and update job descriptions.

3. Respond to employees’ questions about benefit.

Payroll and Budget:

Coordinate with Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly Payroll.

Advise on appropriate staffing levels and assist in budget preparation.

Review employee final payments for accuracy and compliance with labour laws.

Administration:

Ensure smooth running of all administrative functions in the office.

Training and Development and Performance Maintenance:

Evaluate the need for employee training and development and make recommendations.

Keep track of employee performance

Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.

Oversee the coordination and implementation of annual performance reviews.

Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

Requirements and skills

• Work experience as an HR & Admin Officer, HR Administrative Assistant or similar role.
• Experience using spreadsheets.
• Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
• Thorough knowledge of Bahrain labor law.
• Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: BD400.000 - BD500.000 per month
