Produce as per the procedures and to load/ unload material and to perform general shop floor activities

Deliver Production Plan execution.

Responsibilities

Manage production shop floor and produce/convert/fill out/pack as per the procedures.

Continuously maintain high standards of productivity, quality, safety .

Properly keep and maintain all equipment, tools and tackles in close liaison with the engineering/maintenance department.

Liaise effectively with all other workers for the smooth conduct of work.

To load/unload material as per the plan.

Follow QA procedures scrupulously

Co-ordinate with all the other workers to obtain optimum production.

In case of exigency of work, the job holder may have to work in any of the sections of the Production Department (Despatches/Manufacturing and Raw Material Stores)

Carry out duties and responsibilities in relation to HSE so as to ensure not only the safety of the worker but of other employees and the site.

Report to the line manager or any responsible person any act, incident, issue that can have the potential to cause an accident, incident or injury to any employee or contractor factory site or surrounding area.

Actively participate in the company’s H&S programs.

Ensure that the appropriate personal protective equipment is worn when required as part of the job.

Maximize the efficiency of resource.

Manpower scheduling based on the production plan.

Ensure high quality of Housekeeping in the factory.

Implement good practice of minimizing change overs.

Inventory count to be monitored on weekly basis.

Follow up with QC team for re-processing of Expired and Non Moving stocks

Monitoring of the entire down time in the plant.

Allocation of man power and reduction in over time.

Maintain the inventory target for PKG & Semi-finished on monthly basis.

In case of exigency of work, the job holder may have to work in any of the sections of the Production Department (Despatches/Manufacturing and Raw Material Stores)

Ad hoc responsibilities as per the discretion of the manager

Skills required

Good command of written & spoken English
Computer Knowledge
Manpower management
Knowledge of product and manufacturing process.
Knowledge of processing & filling machineries.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Educational requirements

Diploma or Highschool
