Profitroom - Empowering hotels directly


We’re looking for a Regional Director who will lead Profitroom’s expansion in the GCC region. This is a role spanning across go-to-market strategy ownership, team management and hands-on involvement in customer acquisition to win the most strategic customers.

You will be responsible for:

  • GCC region commercial success (working to 2 main metrics: new customers revenue growth, customer acquisition cost).
  • GCC region go-to-market strategy creation and execution with a particular focus on geographies, target accounts list, team structure, product market-fit, sales pitch.
  • Sales performance - working through and with the team to identify and win new as well as being ready to engage hands-on in finding and winning new accounts.
  • Team management - overseeing all aspects of regional sales teams operations to ensure that the team is trained and effective in achieving their mission.
  • Team culture - creating an environment which fosters motivation, performance, accountability and psychological safety.
  • Identifying market expansion opportunities and strategic partnerships for the region.
  • Building Profitroom’s brand and presence in the region through events, media or meetings with strategic customers.
  • Collaborating with Product, Connectivity (integrations), Marketing, Onboarding to execute on the go-to-market strategy and shaping the product roadmap.


Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in selling technology solutions to the hospitality industry within the GCC region and a thorough understanding of the hospitality technology, trends and business landscape.
  • 4+ years of team management experience.
  • Proven experience in leading region development through and with the team.
  • Ability to correctly identify growth opportunities or challenges, create action plans and organise internal functions to deliver needed change.
  • Experience in building opportunities' pipeline through outbound activities – market research, business analysis, networking, partnerships and referrals and leading a sales process from start to finish.
  • A proven track record of closing enterprise deals.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other functions in a remote culture and different time zones.
  • English required (Arabic is a plus)
  • GCC based role
