The role:


This is an exciting role with excellent OTE potential which is dedicated to developing major strategic new business opportunities across MEA . The primary objectives for this role are focused on identifying, developing and ultimately securing profitable business from new prospects and existing clients. These would predominantly come from Travel, Financial Services and Retail by building, implementing and running successful loyalty programs for customers on the Salesforce Ecosystem.

Our group wide products and services at your disposal span Travel Experiences, Loyalty, Insurance and Assistance. The BDL will be accountable for sector- focused go-to-market plans and will take full ownership of the sales process from prospecting, qualification, pipeline building and sales negotiation through to the signing of a commercial agreement with the client.

The role will work closely with MEA business development, the Collinson Salesforce Practise and the Salesforce product and sales teams. It will be critical to have an understanding of how a successful loyalty proposition can solve big business problems, as well as how technology can power CX based loyalty via (Loyalty/Mkt, Commerce, Service and data). It is preferred that you have an in-depth knowledge of Salesforce, the Salesforce ecosystem and contacts at Salesforce (training and time to adapt for the right candidate will be given

Key Responsibilities:

You will lead key regional Business Development activities across the target European industry verticals with a consultative approach:

Develop and own the MEA go to market plans for salesforce loyalty, contributing to overall Regional and Salesforce Loyalty plan

Identify target key decision makers and influencers across all prospect organisations and generate positive relationships and positive recognition of our capabilities.

Identify key sales cycles and RFI/RFP milestones for major contracts/opportunities.

Drive awareness of and create demand for relevant Collinson products and services.

Represent Collinson at key events to develop the brand profile and sales pipeline.

Work with colleagues in marketing to target appropriate messages and campaigns at prospective clients, ensuring alignment with brand standards and overall marketing strategy

Once a client target is active, build and execute a multi-level contact strategy to engage key influencers on the decision; to include their role, level of influence and urgency, quantifiable goals, and key decision criteria.

Run and maintain close relationships with Salesforce Senior Management, Salesforce AE’s and Salesforce product people in the MEA region to ensure a healthy joint planning pipeline

Be the voice of Collinson Salesforce Loyalty in the MEA region

General collaboration with key internal stakeholders throughout the new business process and sales cycle:

Share data promptly on developments, news, prospect/competitor insight and activities.

Review existing sales material and ensure fit for purpose. Where necessary take ownership of material creation leveraging support from marketing and design experts

Work with Commercial Finance and Pre-Sales Teams to accurately forecast the business arising from client opportunities, specifically obtaining key commercial inputs and aligning from the outset with client objectives, ambitions and ideally budget

Support new business processes including pipeline reporting requirements and bid qualification to quickly establish a ‘Go/No Go’ for key prospects and to focus internal resources on the best fit opportunities

Work in conjunction with the bids team, devise and implement win strategies for major new business opportunities identified prior to RFP participation.

Work with the bid team to ensure a smooth transition from sales into product demonstration, commercial negotiation and sales closure.

Take responsibility to close new client agreements, leveraging presales and legal support as necessary.

At the request of account management colleagues, support the cross-selling of Group products and services collaboratively to existing clients.

Deliver all content to deadlines and ensure the quality of execution is compelling.

Effective and timely reporting standards and CRM utilisation

Fulfil all regular and ad-hoc reporting in line with requirements set by line-manager.

Update new/revised client/prospect contact status updates, meeting minutes, actions, win strategies into Salesforce.

Ensure learning from every sales interaction is taken back in house to enable the ongoing development of the overall sector proposition, product roadmap, and competitor analysis.

Experience & skills required for this role:


Extensive experience securing product/service solutions into large Financial Sector Clients

Possession of a strong network in Loyalty and or the Salesforce ecosystem

Proven record in exceeding previous relative personal sales targets, increasing Region’s turnover and improving profit

Proven success in developing and managing a sales pipeline against key metrics and goals, incorporating disciplined and effective strategies for cold calling/contacting

Proven consultative influencing and negotiation skills at executive and/or C-level

Credible ability to “pitch” with a degree of relevant evidential commercial awareness and business acumen

Ability to lead by example; act decisively, autonomously, able to manage challenging deadlines and requests effectively
Great team working ethics and personal integrity.

Experience of selling consumer benefits or loyalty marketing services would be distinctly advantageous, along with knowledge of the travel, retail banking and/or payment card industry
