Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant Assistant to join our finance team. As an Accountant Assistant, you will provide essential support in various accounting and financial tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our finance department.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Assist in payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and accounts.
• Prepare and submit tax forms, including sales tax and payroll tax returns.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Support the finance team in ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accountant Assistant or in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
