KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

The Sport sector seeks an experienced Contract Lead to manage the lifecycle of all contracts, from signature to closure, and drive the contract performance and compliance in NEOM Company. As the project is growing each year, dedicated focus on the increasing number of contracts is integral to monitoring the team performance and reporting to Finance. In addition to the proposed contract management, support will be required to oversee budget expenditure across the sector and lead the team as focal point on procurement. Key competences: •       Business Insight •       Financial Risk Analysis •       Cost Management •       Contract Authoring •       Contract Negotiations •       Contract Start-Up •       Contract Execution and Compliance •       Contract Management •       Contracting Regulations •       Operational & Service Excellence •       Contract and Supplier KPIs, Metrics, and Analysis •       Strategic Partnerships & Supplier Development •       Supplier Relationship Management •       Passive Cycle Competence (PO Mgmt., Good/Service receipt, Payment process) •       Stakeholder Management Key Accountabilities: Involved in Source to Contract phase to Provide inputs to relevant stakeholders in negotiation decisions involving legal or regulatory requirements, contract standards and cost targets to ensure that the key organization interests are captured and covered in the contract Ensure Senior Contract Manager is consulted for any strategic decisions, contract variations, or approvals for complex contracts Closely monitor handover phase to ensure buyers have accurately completed the necessary templates and provided needed information to CM team Lead contract management reviews (setting, analysis and monitoring of KPI’s) via regular cadence Facilitate and own the record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation Monitor contracts actively and complete contract close-out, prompt for extension or renewal, and or short cancelation, as required Ensure alignment to standards, procedures, and templates set by the CoE Contract Process Owner Recognize procurement negotiation issues and options and make informed assessment of negotiation arguments Ensure the contracted services are delivered in accordance with the intent of the contract, risks are identified and performance effectively managed Escalate any contractual deviations to legal department & closely follow-up legal actions as a result of contractual deviations Support the relevant stakeholders in developing related materials to implement innovative performance and measurement metrics and incentive schemes in alignment with relevant stakeholders Provide input on suppliers/vendors payment processing in alignment with contract Liaise with Shared Services as necessary for all contract procurements requiring inputs or actions thereto, mainly with Procurement, Accounting, Legal & Insurance, SRM, Finance Department. Lead stakeholder communications regarding contractual updates, changes, and overall performance, and provide guidance on complex matters Oversee the sector procurement as the initial consultant for support, raising items, and working with the Procurement department as the team key focal point of Sport. The requirement includes but not limited to PR creation on behalf of each specialist department, alignment with Finance on budget and implementation plan tracking.

 

BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Experience	•          Proven experience in contract management (3-6 years) •          Knowledge of IFRS •          Solid knowledge of legal and financial requirements pertaining to contracts •          Excellent writing skills •          Attention to detail •          Strong analytical and organization skills •          Strong stakeholder management and engagement capabilities •          Proven ability to work in a represent a united team spirit •          Knowledge of SAP ERP system •          Fast learner, flexible, pragmatic and committed •          Self-driven and pro-active attitude, ability to work independently •          Systematic and results driven •          Target and quality driven •          Interested in working in international environment in procurement area •          Critical thinker and creative problem solver •          Continuous improvement mindset
Qualifications	BSc in Business Administration or Finance; additional qualification is a plus
