Officer, Logistics and Administration

Job Description

Role Summary:

Responsible for assisting in materials handling, product distribution, and logistics operations in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes supporting planning processes and inventory management.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in materials handling and product distribution within a distribution or manufacturing environment, ensuring efficient warehousing and fulfilment of materials and products.
• Support transportation and inventory management processes.
• Assist in the execution of demand planning and customer forecasting, supply planning, product deployment, and expediting processes.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of stocking optimization models aimed at minimizing costs and inventory while meeting service requirements.
• Support carriers and oversee the movement of all required products, ensuring smooth logistics operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate and streamline logistics activities.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers to optimize procurement processes and enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience in related field.
• +1 year of experience.
• Professional certificate in MS office Software

Materials Handling

• Proficiency in assisting with materials handling and product distribution processes.

• Skill in supporting planning processes, demand forecasting, and inventory management.

Logistics Operations

• Ability to assist in overseeing logistics operations and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Vendor Relationship Management

• Competency in establishing and managing vendor relationships to improve procurement processes and supply chain efficiency.
