We are of French origin brought to Dubai with the authentic flavours of French Food Lovers. Our brand has expanded from delectable French cuisine in catering to classy & chic signature restaurant on two floors, including the roof top that overlooks the most beautiful skyline of Dubai. On the ground floor Odeon created ‘’Le Marché d’Odeon’’ inspired by popular French markets that chef Thomas used to visit when he was living in France. You will find only high-quality fresh products, from exquisite selection of cheese over fresh and dry aged meat, fresh fish to high quality homemade pastry, with French techniques and tastes, entirely imagined by Chef Thomas and his team.
Cashier
Summary of the position
We are looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Ultimately, he/ she needs ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.
Duties and responsibilities
• Manage transactions with customers.
• Collect payments whether in cash or card.
• Cross-sell products and introduce new ones.
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the restaurant.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
Requirements
• Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales.
• French speaking is MUST or else do apply.
• Good mathematical skills and basic PC knowledge.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
• Strong communication and time management skills.
