DESCRIPTION

Amazon is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our global cash management team in Dubai on a 1 year contract. The Treasury department is a fast-paced, team-focused, dynamic environment that offers many challenging opportunities for developing one's financial, analytical and Treasury skillsets. This role requires Treasury operational experience, track record of process improvements and project management experience.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage short term liquidity across MEA entities, including support intercompany funding and settlement activities;
- Responsible for developing reporting and metrics to measure operational defects and identify improvement opportunities;
- Collaborate well with cross functional teams and external business partners;
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in ways that are meaningful and useful to internal business partners.
- Support the broader EMEA Cash Management team as required.

A day in the life
The Treasury department is a fast-paced, team-focused, dynamic environment that offers many challenging opportunities for developing one's financial, analytical and Treasury skillsets. Candidates will need experience in global cash management and treasury management system (preferred Kyriba) to drive insightful analytics, analyze systemic process flow and help to identify and drive operational efficiencies. Must have ability to deal with ambiguity and bias for action in order to be successful in this role.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Dubai, ARE
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of finance experience
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
