Career transition opportunity to transfer your Engineering skills to the Risk & Insurance Sector.
Our client is the world's leading Risk Management and Insurance Broker. Their risk team comprises Risk Engineers who joined from the Petrochemical, Construction, Power, Oil & Gas and Heavy Industry sectors. Chemical, Civil, Operations and Process Engineers by education and experience, our client trains you to apply your knowledge to Risk Engineering.
Owing to continuing growth, there are multiple opportunities across the Gulf region; based in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia. There are specific Risk roles specialising in Construction, Power, Energy, Business Interruption and Process Safety: if you are a Civil Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Process / Process Safety Engineer, Operations / Maintenance Engineer within these sectors please contact Mark at Sourcerock to learn more.
The key responsibility of the Risk Engineer is to conduct Risk Survey's at clients sites and compile a detailed Risk Report of the site. It is a client facing role, involving meetings with relevant client engineers and senior management during surveys, and presenting survey findings as part of brokering services. Typically 60-90 days per year are spent on client sites, the rest of the time is office / hybrid based compiling the report.
We have been helping our client to recruit their Risk Engineers for over 10 years. Those people we have helped have told us they particularly enjoy the variety of the work, getting to see the different ways different companies do things, and seeing a variety of project / facility types rather than spending years on the same facility.
